Spice seems in a habit of releasing devices very quietly. The Spice Mi-530 smartphone is available online in India for Rs 13,999. Apart from this, even the Stellar Nhance Mi-435 is available online for Rs 7,199. Both devices are now available on Saholic, which admittedly is a Spice owned retail property, so its not surprising that the device showed up first here.
The Mi-530 is a dual-SIM smartphone, and it flaunts a 5.3-inch qHD display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, which works in concert with 1GB of RAM. Additionally it has 16 GB internal memory, a 8-megapixel rear camera and a very high-resolution 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Frankly we are yet to see a front-facing camera with such a high resolution and this could also perhaps be a typo on the listing on Saholic.
Other features of the device include 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 2,550-mAh battery and it runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Stellar Nhance too is a dual-SIM smartphone running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 4-inch display, a 1GHz dual-core CPU, 512 MB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a 1,500-mAh battery and 3G connectivity.
According to the listing both devices will be shipped with-in four days, so one will not need to wait for long
