Alcatel announces budget tablets in One Touch series, starting $129

The Alcatel explosion at CES 2013 is not just limited to budget, high-end or flagship smartphones, but the company has also launched several Android tablets.  Talking about Alcatel’s Wi-Fi only One Touch series tablets first, company has unveiled three new Tab 7, Tab 7 HD and Tab 8 HD tablets today. These tablets will be released in the market in the third quarter of the year with Jelly Bean on-board.
Coming to One Touch Tab 7 first, the tablet comes with 7-inch WSVGA (1,024 x 600) TFT display, 1GB RAM, single-core 1GHz processor, front VGA camera, 4GB storage and a microSD slot. It will be sold for USD 129.
OT Tab 7 might be targeted to Acer Iconia B1, but the other two tablets have a little more to offer.
Priced at USD 149, One Touch Tab 7 HD features a 7-inch WXGA (1,280 x 800) IPS display, 1GB RAM, a dual-core 1.6GHz CPU, 8GB built-in storage with microSD support, 2MP rear camera and a front VGA camera.
On the other hand, One Touch Tab 8 HD packs an 8-inch XGA (1,024 x 768) IPS display and other features remain same as Tab 7 HD. It will retail for $179.
