Videocon A20 and A30 model launched for under Rs. 7500

Videocon has now launched the Videocon A20 a uni  core android powered handset for a price tag of Rs. 5,000 and a dual core android handset for Rs. 8,000. Both the handsets come powered by a QUALCOMM processor clocked at 1GHz.
As mentioned the Videocon A20 is with asingle core QUALCOMM processor @ 1GHz with  less than 512 MBRAM running on a relatively old OS – the Gingerbread (Android 2.3). The screen is 3.5 inches with 480×320 pixels resolution.
The Videocon A30 on the other hand comes with dual core Qualcomm processor @ 1GHz with 4 inch capacitive touchscreen with resolution 800×480 pixels. The A30 comes with 512MB RAM and runs on the ICS OS.
The A20 model does not seem that attractive considering the price tag and the older gingerbread OS, the Karbonn A15 is a better option that the Videocon A20. However when it comes to the A30 model from Videocon its dual core for a price Rs. 8,000 – a good balance between the hardware and the price, definitely a good buy.
