Lenovo Announces IdeaPhone K900 With Intel Clover Trail+, 5.5-Inch 1080p Screen

lenovo-k900-1Lenovo has announced its 2013 flagship smartphone in the form of IdeaPhone K900 earlier today.  Featuring a 5.5-inch 1080p display, the smartphone comes with Intel’s new Clover Trail+ processor (dual-core 2GHz).
Lenovo K900 also packs Gorilla Glass 2, 13MP F1.8 camera with dual flash, front camera with an 88-degree super wide viewing angle, 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage with microSD card. It runs on Jelly Bean with Lenovo’s own skin atop.
All these features come in just 6.9 mm thin stainless steel alloy plus polycarbonate body. The smartphone will be offered in multiple colours including Copper, Silver, and Grey.
“With the K900, our team has broken down the key functions of the smartphone and redesigned them from the ground up,” said Liu Jun, president, Mobile Internet Digital Home, and senior vice president, Lenovo. “Rather than focus on specifications that look good on a datasheet, we’ve zeroed in on what consumers want and proved that for smartphone users, top performance doesn’t require a thick profile. The K900 is a game-changer that looks as good as it performs.”
According to Lenovo, the The K900 smartphone will be available from April in China, and in select regional markets soon thereafter. Pricing for the K900 will be announced at a later date.
